毎週土曜日に更新される動物園!第17回目はフラミンゴのお話です。鳥が結構好きなので、よく題材にしたいと思います。フラミンゴは本当に綺麗な鳥ですよね。では、いつもながら英検3級ぐらいの方を意識して説明していきます。英語の基礎があれば説明すれば楽しんでもらえるというコンセプトでやっていきますね!

Finding a good balancing actの和訳

Flamingo: There is nothing like the sense of balance in our life. And it is different for each person, so we need to find and feel it by ourselves. This cannot be the same as others. Then you can stand on your own two feet…or one.
(フラミンゴ: 人生で最も大切なものはバランス感覚だよ。それは人それぞれ違うから、自分自身のバランスを掴まないといけないんだ。これだけは人と同じってわけにはいかない。そしたら独り立ちできるんだ、、、片足でもね。)

Finding a good balancing actの基本解説

There is nothing like the sense of balance in our life. And it is different for each person, so we need to find and feel it by ourselves. This cannot be the same as others. Then you can stand on your own two feet…or one.

  • “There is nothing like…”は「・・・なものは何もない」つまり、「・・・が最高!一番!」という意味です。否定を使い最上級表現をします。正直この表現は英検3級レベルではないと思いますので、そんな言い方があるんだな、ぐらいで大丈夫です。最上級の表現は、”The + 形容詞の最上級形”ですので、こちらの基本形をきちんと覚えましょう。

  • “need to do”は「~する必要がある」です。便利です!

  • 2文目の”find and feel”も目的語は”it”です。二つの動詞がひとつの目的語をとっています。

  • “stand on your own two feet”という表現があります。

Finding a good balancing act

Japanese Expression

Hey! How are you doing? What are you up to? I want you to keep studying Japanese because Learning other language will add someting good to your view for sure, and it is cool… So, today’s expression is…

アッシー君(Asshi-kun)

Probably this word already became extinct, and this word was used in 80’s or so. So please relax , you don’t need to remember that word. Do you know how to say foot? Yeah, it is 足(ashi), and アッシーis from foot. Kun is just kun which is added after man’s name. So アッシー君is the name of a particular type of man. Then, what kind of man who is アッシー君. Soem beautiful women often hang out with cool guys, and go to the party, night clubs, and bars etc… and when she go home at the night, she calls アッシー君saying “Hey, Can you pick me up because I do not have the way to go home?”…yeah, アッシー君 is the poor guy who is used as the transportation of such a woman… maybe hoping something good happens to him…oh miserable. Of course I don’t wanna be a アッシー君, and the word has already died out tho haha.

Japanese Lesson for Japanese Learners

I always think what else I can do for many language learners. One of my friends living in Ecuador asked me”how can I enjoy the website?”, and when I got the question, I came up the idea to build up Japanese lessons more. I will start explaining the Japanese translation on my comic. Hope this will help your Japanese study and get interested in learning Japanese more. I am going to be talking about…

人生で大切なものはバランス感覚だ。

  • The overview of the sentence. It looks difficult? Haha, the structure of the sentence is quite easy. It is “A is B”type. The subject is “人生で大切なもの”, IS is “は”,and the complement is “バランス感覚だ”.

  • 人生(jin-sei)人 means Human, people, person. The way to remember is … The kanji is made of 2 strokes or bars. It is a metapher of human. They are leaning on with each other, like human helping out with each other. 生(sei) means Life or live. So the maninig is “Life”

  • 大切な-もの(Taisetuna-mono)The former is adjective, important. And the latter one is Thing. So It means “The important thing”

  • バランス is balance which is the same as English, so if you are an English speaker, it is not so difficult. Katakana is used for foreign words or foreign name. Plus 感覚(kan-kaku) means Sense or feeling. バランス感覚 is natural combination in Japanese.

I picked up the one Japanese sentence to explain it to you. You like it? Tell me what you thought haha! Hope it is positive feedback or good idea!

Finding a good balancing act

Hey guys, how was the first trial of the new contents. Hope you like it. I really hope I want to contribute to language learners through my website, which is my mission. Because I know how amazing language learning is! I hesitate to say it will broaden your view because it is still blur for me, but one thing I can tell you clearly is … you can talk to the new person who you couldn’t yesterday and you can get ton of teachers, which leads to your new mind set. You will be more humble because there are many respectrul teachers around you. You won’t get bored for the rest of your life haha. I should have said something about flamingo more haha.
